Jacqueline Sylvester, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist and president and owner of BABIES ETC OB/GYN P.C. in Madison, Alabama. With over 26 years of experience, Dr. Sylvester is among the top-tier physicians certified in robotic surgery, an advanced minimally invasive surgical technique that reduces patient recovery time.
After graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from Oakwood College in Huntsville, Alabama, Dr. Sylvester went on to earn her doctorate of medicine from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine.
Dr. Sylvester completed her OB/GYN residency at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Oakland, California, serving as chief resident during her final year.
Recognized for her service and dedication to her career, Dr. Sylvester has received multiple awards, including the National Health Service Corps Scholarship and Honoree Clinical Teaching award for Medical School at UNC-Chapel Hill Medical School.
She is also a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and holds a medical license in Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, and California.
When she’s not taking care of her patients, Dr. Sylvester enjoys sewing, skiing, swimming, and playing tennis, as well as traveling and shopping.
